The Carolina Jazz Society presents nine Traditional Jazz concerts a year, from September through May. Concerts are held the first Sunday of the month, 2:30 – 5 pm. The organization’s newsletter, The Cat’s Meow, informs members of upcoming events and jazz news of interest.
The six “regular” house band members are among the very best musicians in South Carolina: Dick Goodwin, Doug Graham, Jim Hall, Bruce Clark, Aletha Jacobs, and Dustin Retzlaff.
All concerts are open to the public and are held at Heyward Street United Methodist Church, 2501 Heyward Street, Columbia SC 29205.
